Connelly Security Systems
Everybody wants a safe and secure home. There are a huge range of electronic home security systems available today and the good news is, whichever one you choose, it will almost certainly be compatible with our Virtual Monitoring Home Security Monitoring Platform.
You can easily view live cameras, receive SMS alerts and control your system from a mobile phone. You can DIY or have your system installed by an Alarm Company - it doesn't matter to us. We do not install burglar alarms, CCTV or IP IP Cameras - we simply monitor your home for you.
Whether you chose Texecom, Visonic, Tunstall, Bosch or any other make of alarm panel, rest assured it will work with our remote monitoring platform.
If you have existing CCTV cameras, you will need to convert them to IP by using a DVR or video server. Your local CCTV or security installer will be able to advise you what is best for your home.
National Security Inspectorate, NSI, is the UK security and fire industries leading approvals body. There is also an approvals body called the SSAIB. You do not need to have your system approved by either of them in order to have your home or business monitored securely.
Home automation is gaining popularity and with the right equipment, it is possible to control your home from our platform.
Times have Changed.
Never before has cost been the number one concern for UK Alarm Monitoring Subscribers, Alarm Companies and Monitoring Centres alike. Alarm Monitoring and Telco services are just two of the many expenses under scrutiny from Subscribers and you will already be familiar with mass migration to VoIP. This is accelerating rapidly and IP Alarms have the most cost effective VoIP Alarm Monitoring solutions in the UK to help you continue to make savings without compromising your level of security.
VoIP Compatible Alarm Monitoring Solutions
Well known security industry manufacturers might seem large enough to provide cost effective IP hardware, however, they pale in comparison to companies like Cisco who are able to produce millions of devices each year. This huge volume allows Linksys, who are part of Cisco, to bring the highest quality products to market at the lowest possible cost.
One such product is the Linksys SPA3102 that is normally used for Internet phone service. IP Alarms have adapted this product, and others like the SPA2102 or PAP2T, for use within the Alarm Monitoring industry and Subscribers are able to take advantage of superior quality hardware at a fraction of the cost of conventional security industry hardware. For those of you that already own a Linksys VoIP product - it is a double wammy as you can use it for both VoIP and for reliably monitoring your alarm system. The SPA3102 supports Cellular Alarm Monitoring.
BYOD VoIP Solution
Quite simply, this allows you to use your existing Linksys VoIP equipment and use your existing BYOD VoIP account to send alarms to your existing Monitoring provider. Your alarm panel makes a VoIP call to the same number it did over PSTN, so the associated call costs remain. The advantage is that you get to disconnect your landline and make savings.
Compatible with most BYOD VoIP plans, our custom provisioning server downloads a group of optimised settings into Line 1 of your two line ATA (PAP2 or SPA2xxx) and then locks the Admin web interface. You can reset the ATA at any time through the IVR with 73738#. You can enter your VoIP Provider settings into Line 2 prior to provisioning. If you only have a single line available (SPA3102), it is possible to use the line for both voice and alarm monitoring, however, the audio settings may not be exactly as you like them and two seperate lines should be used if available.
Free Call Solution
Our Audio Free Alarm Monitoring technology is innovative and on the cutting edge. It downloads custom settings into your Linksys VoIP ATA so that your alarm panel can communicate with one of our supported Monitoring Centres without ever making an audio call. Raw IP packets are sent to our Virtual Receiver software at the Monitoring Centre thus avoiding call costs completely. Cutting the expensive per call cost of dialling a premium rate number can amount to huge savings for many individuals and companies. This service is only available through our Monitoring Centre partners and associated Alarm Companies. If your Alarm Company cannot convince your existing Monitoring Centre to support our solution, then please ask them to contact IP Alarms for a list of supported Monitoring Centres.
If you have recently moved, or are intending to move to VoIP and your current Alarm Company do not know how to help you, please contact us for a list of more technically advanced Alarm Companies in your area.
